| Fundraising Target for May 2009 Trip $75,000.00 Fundraising events for this year will be better than ever! We wish to thank everyone who participated in all of the events last year which allowed us to achieve many of our goals and more. TWA and its volunteers raised approx. $40,000.00 last year. This year we will continue our work with the School facility in Cite Soleil as well as our ongoing dedication to service and bringing Canadians face to face with the realities of the developing world. Here is a list of the regular fundraising events you can look forward to and participate in for the coming year. If you have any ideas or wish to organize a fundraiser for our work then please contact us at any time. Contact info. (Note. Some regular events raise money for both projects and trip costs for participants. It is usually split 60/40, (sixty percent for projects and forty percent for trip expenses), but this can vary depending on event. If you wish to know how a particular event is going to be used then please ask us.
