Stephen Lewis Foundation  "Our purpose is threefold; 1) to provide care at community level to women who are dying, so that their last weeks, days, hours are free from pain, humiliation and indignity; 2) to assist orphans and other AIDS-affected children, in every possible way, from the payment of school fees to the provision of food; 3) to support associations of people living with HIV/AIDS, so that the courageous men and women who have openly declared their status can educate themselves and share information with the broader community on prevention, treatment, care and the elimination of stigma."

Free the Children "Free the Children is an international network of children helping children at a local, national and international level through representation, leadership and action. It was founded by Craig Kielburger in 1995, when he was 12 years old. The primary goal of the organization is not only to free children from poverty and exploitation, but to also free children and young people from the idea that they are powerless to bring about positive social change and to improve the lives of their peers."

Jamaican Self Help "Jamaican Self-Help is an organization of Canadians working in solidarity to foster the development of healthy Jamaican communities through partnership based on mutual respect, understanding and a shared vision of self-determination; and foster an understanding of global forces North and South and their interconnectedness."
 
Global Fund for Women "A grant making foundation supporting women's human rights organizations around the world working to address critical issues such as gaining economic independence and increasing girls' access to education..."
 
Wings of Hope "...is located in the mountains above Petionville, some twenty miles from Port du Prince.  It is home to approximately 30 children, ages 2 to adult, half of whom have some kind of physical or mental disability.  The children at St. Joseph's Home for Boys and Wings of Hope consider themselves part of the same family and there is much interaction between the two homes. The director and the assistant director of Wings of Hope are both graduates of the St. Joseph's Home for Boys program."

Mennonite Central Committee "(MCC) is a relief, service, and peace agency of the North American Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches."
 
USC Canada "...(originally known as the Unitarian Service Committee) was founded in 1945 by Dr. Lotta Hitschmanova. From its inception, the core goal of USC has been to aid those most in need. Dr. Lotta founded the organization in a desire to help the starving, displaced children of Europe whose lives had been devastated by World War II. What began as a relief agency offering emergency assistance of various types, including clothing and food drives, has now grown into a development agency that attacks poverty at its roots."
