Volunteering Option 1 - Come with us! The next trip is to Haiti in May 2009. The base cost of flight and accommodation is approx. $1,200.00 (CAN). Our next meeting(s) will be, Sunday, November 30th. 2008 This is a general meeting where volunteers and people interested in our work can come and meet each other. We will be looking into seat sales which will be discussed at the meeting. Once your flight is booked and confirmed then let us know and we will add you to the accommodation list. LOCATION - 71 Cherrywood Ave. Toronto, Ont. (Cherrywood Ave. & Vaughan Rd. between Oakwood Ave. and Bathurst St.) All meetings start at 7:00 pm. Contact us at anytime. General meetings will follow during the spring every couple of months, January, March, and the beginning of May prior to departure. You MUST attend at least one of these general meetings before you can join us. For any and all late comers you must arrange to meet one of the TWA Executive members in person before coming on the trip. TWA will not be responsible for anyone who has not met an Executive member or attended a general meeting by the end of April 2009. (IMPORTANT CHANGE) TWA has had to close out the flight assistance. We will alert people as to seat sales but you are responsible for booking your own flight while TWA will book the accommodations and arrange transportation while in Haiti. It is never too late to come on the trip and you are welcome to join us at any time. However please note that TWA can neither officially include you as a member for accommodations nor register you with the Canadian Embassy in Haiti until proof of flight purchase has been submitted. All accommodation fees are due in US dollars by May 1st. '09 prior to departure. What do I need to come on the trip? Option 2 - Volunteer for one of our Fundraising events. Option 3 - Donate money or supplies. Donation list. Option 4 - Spread the word and share your own experiences with us. Tell people about this website and our work.
